Main Vision and Overview
The Native Navigation Podcast was a vision that came to me to when thinking about how to create more harmony in humanity. Share storys!
To help normalise our shared experiences in navigating systems imposed on us (working certain hours, schooling and learning in a certain way, capitalism, colonisation, regulations, society) that can be in conflict with our natural, native, more harmonious ways of living.
It’s about restoring agency, reconnecting with ancestral ways, and building bridges that lead to a more inclusive, equitable world where our people no longer have to choose between survival and authenticity.
Native Navigation is about bringing a sense of relief to people who are juggling work, parenting, creating legacies whilst dedicating their spare time to the preservation of cultural ways and creating more sustainable systems.
The highest vision is to create a global community and additional resources based on the themes of our experiences, for all peoples however, especially Māori, Pacific, and Indigenous peoples worldwide to see themselves reflected, feel less alone, and strengthen their desire to prioritise their wellbeing using systems that feel aligned and sustainable.
Ultimately this project is about Indigenous peoples strengthening our agency to lead the way and being an example of Self Determination to support all peoples of the world to Navigate their lives with more ease, within disconnected and linear thinking based systems, because thats what we’ve been doing for generations.

The why
This project is about helping us to remember our sacred systems through Story. With the world focused on AI, we are anchoring in Ancient Intelligence to go with it, there is place for both.
As a coach working to empower individuals for the last 10 years, I have had the absolute privilege to be trusted with peoples deeply vulnerable stories.
The patterns I often hear is that there’s a silent loneliness that comes with living in two worlds, navigating colonial/patriarchal systems while trying to stay rooted in our Native ways of being.
Many of us carry the ache and exhaustion quietly.
The power of story
Native Navigation exists because that silence needs breaking. Storytelling is one form of Indigenous mastery. Its a basket, to carry knowledge and healing.
As an individual, connecting to a story is how we remember we’re not alone and what we are experiencing has been experienced before.
Its healing to hear someone name an experience you thought you were the only one having. It softens the shame and brings us relief and peace.
The ultimate aim is to gather a repository of stories about one of our greatest challenges of this age, Navigating two worlds.
